To help prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum campus will close to the public as of Friday, March 13. The ALPLM’s three Springfield buildings, the library, museum and historic Union Station, will remain closed until further notice.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum in Springfield, Illinois , is dedicated to preserving and passing on the incredible legacy of our Nation's 16th President. Through immersive displays, multimedia programs, historic documents and rare artifacts our permanent exhibit presents the inspirational life story of Abraham Lincoln Special exhibits also are provided at the museum on a wide range of interesting topics.

With temporary exhibits, special programs, guest speakers, and theatrical presentations, visitors can expect something new every time they walk in through the doors.
