21st Annual Conference on Illinois

October 3 - October 4

This annual event offers two full days of panels covering a wide range of topics from Illinois’s political, cultural, and social history that will appeal to academics, teachers, and anyone interested in the past. Continuing education credits are also available.

Thursday’s luncheon will feature Adam Selzer as he discusses his most recent book, HH Holmes: The True History of the White City Devil.

Join us on Thursday evening for the new Women’s Suffrage Tour at the Dana-Thomas House State Historic Site. To sign up for the tour, call Shanta Thoele at 217-524-6045. Must be registered for the Conference to attend. Space is limited.

At Friday’s luncheon Dr. Wayne C. Temple will speak about Abraham Lincoln’s Springfield/Pittsfield connection.

Various ticket options are available including student pricing. Register online in advance, $50 for one-day workshop, $90 for the two-day workshop, Lunches are $15 per day, Student discount available. Please register in advance.
