Now part of DSI‘s Old Capitol Holiday Walks! The Springfield Jaycees’ first Christmas parade was held in 1949. It has been held continuously since 1972.
This event is held at a family-friendly time of 5:30 pm so your kiddos can enjoy the beautiful lighted floats and get home for bed at a reasonable time, with visions dancing in their heads.
Click the link below if you’d like to participate with a lighted float.
