Kids take over the Old Capitol Farmers Market! Annual Kids Day at the Market located on 4th and Adams Street. Kids activities will be in the Farmers Market Mural Parking Lot. The event is free to the public due to our generous sponsors J Andrew Davis’ Financial Service Inc., The Baker Group, and West Central Bank.
The first 500 kids to arrive will receive a $2 token that they will have the opportunity to spend at participating vendors at the market. There will also be a scavenger hunt for kids to complete that will help them discover and learn about different fruits and vegetables.
Kids Day is in partnership with Kidzeum of Health and Science who are also celebrating their 1st Birthday. They will have activities for kids to enjoy in their courtyard as well as inside their building. Check their website for a full list of activities and times. Kidzeum will be open from 10am – 5pm for the general public, and will offer early access for members starting at 9am.
