Old Capitol Holiday Walk

On December 3rd, 10th and 17th, downtown shops and restaurants extend their hours to 9:00 p.m. as shoppers delight in horse-drawn carriage rides and children wait to visit Santa's House on the South Plaza. Strolling musicians & carolers fill the sidewalks and storefronts.

Holiday Walk

In keeping with tradition, the following Wednesdays in December also gave shoppers the opportunity to visit their favorite shops and restaurants after hours. Most businesses extend their hours until 8 p.m. on these evenings.

For more information on this event, please contact the DSI office at (217) 544-1723.
