Farmers' Market

The Old Capitol Farmers’ Market presented by St. John’s Hospital is proud to feature over 60 vendors who grow everything from tomatoes to turnips and much more! This growers-only Market fills two city blocks of Downtown Springfield with farm produce, flowers, food, and fun!

Interested in becoming a vendor at the Old Capitol Farmers’ Market? We have provided the links below to assist you:

Stop by St. John's Hospital's tent at the corner of 4th and Adams Street for a variety of healthy screenings and nutritional information throughout the season. Be sure to pick-up the heart-healthy recipes featuring in-season market produce distributed weekly from the St. John's tent.

Don’t miss the Celebrity Chef Demonstrations sponsored by Maldaner's Restaurant. Monthly cooking demonstrations highlight a plethora of market produce to create many tantalizing gourmet dishes.

Start your Saturday right with Musicians at the Market coordinated by Music in Communities and Education (M.I.C.E). MICE fills the market with the sounds of local musicians every third Saturday of the month.

Mark your calendar for the new season May 21 - October 29! For more information regarding the St. John’s Old Capitol Farmer’s Market, please call (217) 544-1723.
