LIVE – WORK – PLAY – CREATE
The DSI Image & Design Council recognizes the importance and value of public art to our local community as well as becoming a cultural tourism attraction. The Council is proud to champion the new ARTIFICATION downtown mural project for 2013 and has a vision of four large scale murals created by local artists with the first being launched at the Taste of Downtown, July 12 & 13. As with any project of this size and scope, funding is needed to secure necessary supplies, equipment and cover artist fees. The estimated cost of each mural is $10,000. With your financial and in-kind contributions we can make this a reality and directly benefit downtown. For more detailed information please contact DSI at 217-544-1723. For your convenience, contributions are accepted online via PayPal using debit or credit cards. Checks are also accepted, payable to DSI.
Thank you for your interest and support of this exciting new venture!
