Help us kick off Springfield’s first Levitt AMP Music concert presented by PNC on the Y Block! This summer, we’re taking you on a musical adventure — for free! All you need to bring are your lawn chairs and blankets, and we’ll take care of the rest. Bring your family, friends & neighbors as our community experiences the power of free, live music. It’s a citywide neighborhood block party on the Y Block every Thursday from May 30 – August 1!
Kicking off the series on May 30 is gospel artist Damon Mitchell, a singer, pianist and songwriter from Madison, Illinois whose love for hymns, jazz, soul, and traditional gospel music have led to a unique sound. The opening act will be Ntegrity, who calls himself a “spiritual hip hop” artist.
