Lincoln’s Birthday and Unveiling of Art Contest

Family fun and a free admission day provide the perfect combination for celebrating President Lincoln’s birthday on February 12, 2020 at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.

History will come to life with visits from President and Mrs. Lincoln as the museum offers a festive setting with musical performances throughout the day. Plus, your children and grandchildren will learn through play with a variety of arts and crafts activities, too.

In addition to the family friendly activities, the ALPLM and the Illinois State Board of Education will announce the winners of a state-wide art contest with the winning entries from Illinois school children going on display in the presidential museum.
