Upper Story Tour

DOWNTOWN SPRINGFIELD INC. HOSTS
THE TENTH ANNUAL UPPER STORY TOUR

Augie's ViewHistoric treasures and urban city dwellings will highlight the Tenth Annual Upper Story Tour, sponsored by Downtown Springfield Incorporated (DSI) on Thursday, May 6, 2010, between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for the Upper Story Tour are priced at $5 for Downtown Springfield, Inc. members and $7 for non-members and are available the day of the event at Lincoln Place Condominiums (118 South Fourth St.) and the Vachel Lindsay Home (603 South Fifth St.).

As in past years, the tour is scheduled during National Historic Preservation Month sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  The tour gives Springfield residents the opportunity to see first hand the progress being made in Springfield’s historic downtown district. The Upper Story tour is sponsored by CJP Architects Incorporated, Hughes Housing Solutions, Inc., Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, Illinois Times, Logan Development and The Old State Capitol Foundation.
