How does the imagery and traditions of the “First Thanksgiving” compare to the reality of Indigenous history in the United States? Participants will view the short film “The Invention of Thanksgiving” produced by the National Museum of the American Indian and then take part in a small group discussion about the relationship between Thanksgiving and United States history.
