Problems with debilitating eczema
For several years now, I have had recurring eczema on my hands and sometimes all over my body. I have tried a bunch of creams and ointments, but the relief is only temporary. I have heard something about new treatments, but I am not sure if it is just another fad therapy. Is there anything that really works?

I totally understand how exhausting it is — constant itching and constant attempts to find a treatment that works. Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the prospects of using stem cells in the treatment of skin diseases, including eczema and dermatitis. There is a fairly thorough article that discusses how stem cell therapy works for these conditions, what options are available, and what to look for, with a description of research and clinical approaches: https://ways2well.com/blog/stem-cell-therapy-for-eczema-and-dermatitis-best-treatment-options . It's not just generalities, but explanations of possible mechanisms — how stem cells can affect immune processes and skin regeneration, why it helps some patients, and why others should be cautious. I recommend reading it and then perhaps consulting with a dermatologist or immunologist to determine whether such therapy could be beneficial in your particular case, as the approach is individual and requires a qualified assessment of your skin condition and medical history.
